What the Trees Leave Behind tells a story of change, letting go and the beauty that remains.
Scattered across the ground, the fallen leaves represent the different seasons we move through in life. Each carries its own colour, markings and story, some bright and new, others deeper and weathered, yet all belong to the same Country.
The dotted earth beneath them represents connection to Country and the generations of stories held within it. As leaves fall, they return to the ground, nourishing what will eventually grow again.
This piece is a reminder that letting go doesn't always mean losing. Sometimes what we leave behind becomes part of something new, creating space for growth, renewal and the next season to begin.
