‘Riyawina on country’ Meaning to play on country in Palawa Kani language. This piece shows the suns rays shining down on the land. The sun is the provider and because of her the soil is rich, giving life to native flowers represented by the beautiful Waratah and flowering gum in bloom. A group of women sit beneath the gum under the sun coming together in celebration. The flora and fauna share a deep connection with the land and a galah is seen playing among the flowers in bloom.
